2009 Business Leader of the Year Award
from the King Chamber of Commerce at their
awards banquet held on November,12 2009.

Joyce  Triche attended the Teachers Training School of Dance Masters of America, Inc. July 25-29,2011 in Buffalo, New York  She graduated by satisfactorily passing
final examinations in ballet, tap, jazz and modern.
      
Students performed at the Stokes Stomp on September 10, 2011 This outdoor festival was sponsored by the Stokes County Arts Council. It took place at Moratock
Park in Danbury. See

October 1, 2011 students performed at Kingfest, a festival sponsored by the King Chamber of Commerce that is held at Central Park in King. See action pictures in the
performance gallery.
               
From September 12 - October 15,2011, 33 students participated in our "A Dancer Reads" contest. Over 16,700 pages of  dance related books were read. Nine students
read more than 500 pages. As winners of our contest, they received a custom designed t-shirt, and a reading duck . Melody was crowned our reading Queen on October
29.  She read  2898 pages. She received a crown, a bouquet of roses, a t-shirt and a reading duck. Certificates for all participants were given by the King Public Library.
  
On October 22, 2011 seven students  practiced their acrobatics skills for two hours and raised money for Cystic Fibrosis research. They  raised a total on $321.00 for
the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.       
     
On October 31,2011 more than 800 children received treats as part of the Downtown Trick or Treat. About 125 went through the "Not Too Scary" Haunted House.
      
On November 12-13, 2011 Emily, Mary Katherine, LeeAnna, Jesse, Emma and Hailey joined Joyce Triche in attending the Carolina Dance Masters, Inc. annual
convention held at the Koury Convention center in Greensboro. They took several hours of master classes

On November 19,2011 musical theatre students and family members made up a group of 26 attending the Twin City Stage production of
Annie at the Little Theatre of
Winston-Salem
                                                                             
December 4, 2011 students participated in the Rural Hall Christmas parade.
              
December 9, 2011 musical theatre students caroled as part of the "shop in" sponsored by the King Chamber of Commerce.

December 10, 2011 was a busy day. Students participated in the King Christmas parade at 10:00am. Our float won 1st place in the commercial division. After a quick
lunch at Stokesburg UMC, they participated in the Walnut Cove Christmas parade. This was the first year that our float was in the Walnut Cove parade.

December 17,2011 Christmas party for all students was held at the studio.

December 28,2011 Musical Theatre students performed at Priddy Manor Assisted Living.
  

January 14 - February 25, 2012 Snowflake Classes were held ending with an Open House demonstration and reception
         
February 4- I attended the Carolina Dance Masters Winter Workshop and took several hours of master classes
        
March 3, 2012 6 routines competed in the Marvonna Productions competition in Wentworth, NC. Action pictures are in the performance gallery

March 12, 2011 Our Dance Day Camp program was featured in the
"HAPPY CAMPERS" article by Ken Keuffel  in the  Winston-Salem Journal
      
April 2-3  8 routines competed in the Tri-State Dance Contest  in Asheville, NC. Action pictures are in the performance gallery.
 
April 25-April 30,2011 was National Dance Week. This was celebrated with free classes for friends and homemade cookies and lemonade for all
        
On May 14, students performed at Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community. Action pictures are in the performance gallery
    
On June 4, 2011 students performed at Homestead Hills Retirement Community
      
Spring Production Family & Friends was held at the Stevens Center of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts on June 18, 2011
