The studio is on the left 2/3
the way down the block. It
is a white two story building.
The railroad track runs
behind the studio, if you
cross the tracks you have
gone too far.

from the King Chamber of Commerce at their
awards banquet held on November,12 2009.

December 6, 2014
|Students performed at the Stokes Stomp on September 13, 2014. This outdoor festival was sponsored by the Stokes County Arts Council. It took place at
Moratock Park in Danbury. See action pictures in the performance gallery.
October 4, 2014 students performed at Kingfest, a festival sponsored by the King Chamber of Commerce that is held at Central Park in King.

From September 8 - October 10, 2014, 13 students participated in our "A Dancer Reads" contest. Over 9,857 pages of dance related books were read. Four
students read more than 750 pages. As winners of our contest, they received a custom designed t-shirt, a reading duck, and roses. Isabell was crowned our reading
Queen on October 22. She read 3,316 pages. She received a crown, a bouquet of roses, a t-shirt,and a reading duck..Certificates for all participants were given by
the King Public Library.
On October 31,2014 more than 700 children received treats as part of the Downtown Trick or Treat. About 70 went through the "Not Too Scary" Haunted
Four students from our Musical Theatre classes - Kimberly, Elizabeth, Brittney and Tayler performed in the Living Storybook production of Three by Grimm in
Stokes County elementary schools.
On November 15-16, 2014 Tishana, Emma, Hailey, Laura and Jesse joined Joyce Triche in attending the Carolina Dance Masters, Inc. annual convention held at
the Koury Convention center in Greensboro. They took several hours of master classes. Jesse Morris having passed her jazz examination in October, was
obligated at the Grand Body Meeting and became a member of Dance Masters of America, Inc.
December 6, 2014 students participated in the King Christmas parade. Their picture was on the front page of The Stokes News on December 11.

December 13, 2014 students participated in the Walnut Cove Christmas Parade

December 20, 2014 Christmas party for all students was held at the studio.
January 31, 2015 Students performed at Village Care of King for the residents and their families
January 17- February 28, 2015 Snowflake Classes were held ending with an Open House demonstration and reception
February 7,2015- Miss Jesse and I attended the Carolina Dance Masters Winter Workshop and took several hours of master classes
March 21, 2015 4 routines competed in the Carolina Dance Masters, Inc. Performing Arts Competition in Smithfield, NC. Action Pictures
March 28-29, 2015 5 routines competed in the Tri-State Dance Contest in Asheville, NC Action Pictures
April 18, 2015 Information booth and demonstration of preschool classes at Little Folks Festival Action Pictures
April 27-May 2 ,2015 was National Dance Week. This was celebrated with free classes for friends and homemade cookies and lemonade for all Action Pictures
On June 20, 2015Spring Production Variety was held at the Stevens Center of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts
